Fast search in Paperspell scans across all your documents and imported PDFs with OCR, understands titles, tags, Spaces (Family / Home / Work), and key fields, and works across multiple languages so you can find German, English, or local letters with a single query. You simply type a few words like “health insurance”, “rental contract”, “tax 2024”, or even a date or amount (e.g. “31.03” or “€150”) and immediately see a focused list of relevant documents with matches highlighted in previews. Each file you scan or import is linked to a Space and optional tags, so search combines full text, metadata, and structure to surface the right page in seconds, whether on desktop or in one-hand mobile mode with recent queries and filters. This removes the panic of looking for “that one letter from January”, cuts time spent on bureaucracy compared to digging through folders, and lets you quickly re-read conditions, deadlines, or coverage details before you act – whether you need the latest rental agreement, an insurance card at the doctor’s office, or a specific tax letter among dozens of forms.
